YCN Brief

BacardiFor our YCN Brief we selected Bacardi, who asked for ways in which to challenge the perception that Bacardiis seen as old fashioned and ‘not cool’. To attract an audience of from primarily males between the ages of 18 and 24, and make it be seen as a drink that one wouldn’t be embarrassed if seen drinking it in a bar… in a way young guys might not drink wine in a bar for example.

Given that our group consists of 2 females, and a male in the chosen age group, none of which are particularly  drinkers, this allowed us to look at the brief more objectively than others might, ie we wouldn’t be looking at a solution that would work for us – instead one that would work for the target audience.
